When you read a book, do you feel like you’ve escaped to another world?
From November 17 to November 21, Crimson Authors will be celebrating their stories with the first Crimson Wonderland Blog Hop! Forty-six authors (I’m one of them!) will entice you with their books and offer prizes to lucky visitors. A wonderland of worlds and prizes.
But that’s not all. As well as dozens of giveaways, there will also be 3 grand prizes!! One Amazon or Barnes & Noble gift certificate for $100!!! And two gift certificates for $50 each!! Every blog comment you leave during the hop is entered into a drawing to win one of the grand prizes.
So save the date and get ready to read some blogs – and find other great stories to download and read as well! Just in time for the holidays!

If I’m not transported in the story, it’s a disappointment. I treat each book as if I’m a bystander watching the scenes as they unfold. I like to see in my mind’s eye the people, surroundings, and emotions. I know I’m engaged when I can’t put the book down until I’m done. The story has to also have all the elements of a good story to hook me. If not, I feel cheated.
Terri, thanks for the opportunity to meet you, explore your site and your work.

I’m so thrilled to meet you, too, Belinda. And very happy you came by to visit. I agree that I don’t like feeling cheated with a book, and it’s rare that I can’t finish one I’ve started — though it’s happened. It’s a wonderful thing when you finish a book and it sticks with you for a long time. For me, my favorites are still in my head, even years later!
I always feel as though I have escaped to a different world! I sometimes lose track of time when I read a really good book!
Well, if you feel that way, then the author definitely did their job! And hopefully you keep going back for more. 🙂
Yes, that is why I read so much and love it.

Yes, I do! That’s why I read. But it’s still important that I can relate to the characters on some level.

I can sure identify with that! Gotta love characters we love to love and love to hate.
